what damage is everyone comparing their ships to? when people say the damage sucks i really wonder what the benchmark is. the sacrilege can have some good damage with crappy range, you can nano the ship get about 3.5-4k/sec do about 450-500 dps ...

you are able to cloak right after launching, but the bomb has to be like 2k or 3k away before you can recloak (i forget the real time) so if they don't have any fast lockers (which is unlikely in a blob) then you can cloak and align to warp out. ...

yea i believe you'll need explosion velocity to be boosted for the missiles to do any damage. sure they'll get there fast, but they just wont do any damage if the guy is doing over what like 2.5k? something like that

as far as damage goes, with caldari navy terrors you can get good damage. for me i have all rof/damage missile skills accept for 2 to 5. per missile depending on their resistances you can get on average about 75-140 hp per missile. which doesn't ...

what you can think of to break the missile range what you can do is put 1-2 missile velocity rigs. this will increase your range by 1-3 km's i believe (don't have eft in front of me) but along with the implants you should be able to reach out to 2...
